  • Pursuing Peace: Reconciling relationships in Community / Grace Sumrall

Being a part of a community can be great, until it isn't. Unmet expectations, differing values, pressures from within and out (not to mention, sin) can all lead to relational breakdown. • Sharing the Good News with Great Joy / Debbie Entsminger

What if evangelism was never meant to feel pressured or awkward, but joyful and life-giving? What if sharing the good news isn’t just for the benefit of those who don’t yet know God, but one of His greatest gifts to believers, too? In this workshop, we’ll explore how sharing our faith can renew our hearts and draw us deeper into the abundant life Jesus gave His all to make possible. You’ll also be equipped to do this with Him—not only as an event, but as a way of life… for life!

  • The Gospel in the Old Testament: Discovering the Origins & Grandeur of the Good News for Everyday Life / Dom Orlando

There’s a good chance that, by default, your view of the gospel is too small, too Western, too American, and too “new.” Come explore the grandeur of this marvelous gospel, a story that finds its origin long before the New Testament was written. We will try to define what the gospel is and is not, where we see it in the Old Testament, and how we can each continue to explore its depths in our own reading of the Bible.

  • The Good News of God's Forgiveness and How I Can Forgive Others for what they have done to me? / Gwen Jackson

The Good News of Forgiveness is that Christ forgave us first. (Romans 5:8). Now we can CHOOSE to forgive others.  Forgiveness must never be forced, but must come from one’s heart. We will delve into the good news of God's forgiveness for us and how we can extend that forgiveness to those  who have hurt, or betrayed us. Forgiveness can offer a fresh start right where you are.

  • Living Generously / Sarah Rodriguez

This workshop will invite participants to consider how generosity becomes a tangible expression of good news for all people. We will explore practical ways to incorporate generosity in our daily lives, discovering how the gospel empowers us to overcome fear and scarcity and form rhythms of generosity that will grow with you long after college.

  • Prioritizing and Persisting in Prayer / Mark Sumrall

I found myself desiring to pray. I set aside time, and set out to do it. Then, something "important" came up that "required" my attention. Sometimes this is genuinely the case, and other times I put it off because it doesn't seem "productive." However, Jesus said there are some things that require prayer to accomplish, and that we should pray consistently (Mark 9:29, Luke 18:1-8). In the midst of a society that promotes busyness that crowds out prayer, how do we prioritize and persist in prayer? Come and explore biblical principles and practices that will help us to prioritize and strengthen our prayer lives.

  • Life After College: Following Christ Beyond the Campus / Matt Rodriguez

What are your plans for after you graduate? Where will you live? What will you do?” These questions loom over every student’s head (and probably get asked way too often by friends and family), especially as the great unknown of the future comes ever closer. These things are important, but what does it look like to keep Christ at the center of it all? What does it look like to take what you’ve learned in college and apply it to the decades that come after? Whether you panic at the mention of the word "graduation" or have never thought about life beyond the campus, come join me as we look at some key topics and principles that’ll help you to thrive in, not merely survive, life after college.

  • Good News & Mental Health: How Identity, Hope, and Submission to Christ Bring Great Joy / Emma Thompson

Culture would have us submit to an all-encompassing identity and life completely formed around our struggle around mental health. Christ would have us submit our struggle to Him, placing our hope not necessarily on the disappearance of mental health struggles and disorders, but instead in His authority and will, character, and compassion. What does it mean to hope in Christ, instead of hoping in what we long to see healed? What does it look like to submit to God’s authority and trust His character here? How can God be honored and proclaimed through a battle with mental health? Where is God’s compassion for the one who suffers because of mental health? Let’s look at these questions through a Biblical lens together!

  • How to Overcome fear when sharing the Gospel / Christian Robles*
